Additional Meeting Dates

Due to popular demand, the Mid-Ohio Valley Chess Club will now meet on both the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the Vienna Public Library from 6-9 PM until the end of the year. The next meeting will be held on May 26th. I look forward to meeting you over the board twice as often!

Morgantown May Day Tournament

Congratulations to MOVCC member Mike Price on his recent performance at the May Day Tournament in Morgantown, WV. Unleashing his new weapon, the Nimzowitsch Defence, Mike went on to defeat two 1700-rated players to secure a respectable 2.0 score for the day, increasing his rating by 146 points!
